Services

I offer speech, language, social communication, and sensory integration services to help children achieve their best brain-body connection. I provide individual therapy, group therapy, and parent education programs to support children in reaching their full potential.

Speech-Language Pathology

Delays in communication can contribute to behavioral challenges, anxiety, challenges learning to read and write, lack of confidence and feelings of overwhelm.  I serve as an advocate for those struggling with communication difficulties, fostering a supportive environment that empowers individuals to grow and change. I treat articulation, fluency/stuttering, expressive and receptive language, apraxia, motor speech, social communication, and cognitive communication disorders. I help people develop stronger social competencies in order to meet their self-determined social goals by learning concrete ways of seeing and understanding how the social world works. Supporting all forms of communication contributes not only to speech and language development, but to improved social understanding and overall mental health.

Sensory Integration

Reflexive, repetitive movements develop and mature our brains beginning in the womb. These automatic movements are the foundations for the development of balance, mobility, vision, hearing, speech, learning, social-emotional skills, executive functioning skills, and communication. Incomplete integration of infant reflexes and incomplete development of postural reflexes can contribute to anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, learning disorders, sensory integration disorders, vision problems, behavioral challenges, lack of confidence and feelings of constant overwhelm.
We can integrate reflexes and strengthen the foundations of our nervous systems at any age through the practice of neurodevelopmental movements and specially designed movement programs. These supports can allow us to create significant and positive changes in our lives.  Once reflexes are integrated and our sensory systems have greater support, we can navigate life and learn new information with greater

ease and joy.

Neurodiversity Affirming Practice

one brain side view bright rainbow color

We acknowledge that all neurotypes have unique strengths, interests, and support needs. We seek to understand neurodiversity as natural,

to educate about differences, and to provide individuals and their families with skills, tools, and strategies that allow for improved participation in home, school, work, and play environments.
